One of our most enjoyable vacations!
Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a week at El Convento, it was without a doubt one of our most enjoyable vacations!! Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make sure our vacation was wonderful! We will most definitely return to this beautiful island and to this Beautiful hotel!!

Wonderful visit at Hotel El Convento. The staff is simply amazing. You will not find a nicer group of people as a whole. Each member was great. The location is a short walk from everything in Old San Juan. The hotel itself is unique. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

As a destination wedding photographer based in Puerto Rico, I have the privilege of capturing love stories in some of the most stunning locations, but El Convento Hotel truly stands out as one of the most enchanting venues I’ve had the honor of working at.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the venue’s old charm and architecture which provided a dreamlike backdrop for David and Lorraine's special day. The team at El Convento was exceptional—professional, accommodating, and always attentive to every detail. Their dedication ensured that every moment flowed seamlessly, allowing the couple and their guests to simply enjoy the celebration.
The ceremony was filled with heartfelt emotions, surrounded by lovely balconies, lavish rooms and spectacular scenery making it a joy to photograph. The reception was equally spectacular, with incredible decor and amazing floral design adding an extra layer of magic to the evening.
As a photographer, capturing authentic, meaningful moments is my passion, and Hotel El Convento provided the perfect stage for documenting memories that will last a lifetime. I am deeply grateful to David and Lorraine for choosing me to be part of their journey and allowing me to photograph such a beautiful event.

Location to everything is excellent, beautiful historic building with a dreamy interior and exterior. Courtyard is full of beautiful and thriving plants (and the hotel manager cat, Trixie!). Room design was unique and comfortable. Historic without feeling old fashioned. Staff was super helpful and professional, even the restaurant is great. Would absolutely stay again.
